Our Story
The journey of our ACS Student Chapter began with a spark of inspiration. A group of our classmates, eager to showcase our research, wanted to participate in a poster presentation at the ACS Student Chapter at Chittagong University. However, we soon discovered that the event was only open to CU students.
This disappointment, however, ignited a fire within us. With the guidance of our co-advisor, S. M. Fazle Rabbi Sir, we decided to take matters into our own hands and explore the possibility of opening our own ACS Student Chapter here at BSMRSTU.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of our advisors, Dr. Kamruzzaman and Rabbi Sir, and the unwavering support of our chairman, we were able to turn this dream into a reality. Today, we stand as a testament to the power of perseverance, collaboration, and a shared passion for chemistry.
Our Vision
We envision a community where students can connect with each other, learn from experienced mentors, and gain valuable insights into the diverse career paths available in chemistry and chemical engineering. We will organize workshops, seminars, and conferences, inviting renowned scientists and industry professionals to share their expertise and experiences.
We also aim to create opportunities for student-led research projects, where you can apply your classroom knowledge to real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of scientific understanding. Through community outreach programs, we will strive to inspire a love for science among young minds and raise awareness about the crucial role of chemistry in our society.
